Our core team consists of industry professionals with over 2 decades of experience each in the fields of public health, social entrepreneurship, financial consulting, engineering, and design.
Our team members' unique perspectives and compassion have enabled KTE to organize consistently impactful projects in recent years. We are also thankful for volunteers from our communities who join us and contribute to specific projects and events.
James Abraham
is the founder and director of SolarArise, which develops, owns and operates solar-power plants in India. James was a senior partner at The Boston Consulting Group in India, where he founded and led BCG’s New Delhi office. James has a degree in Elec. Engg. from the University of Waterloo, an MBA from the Wharton School, and an MA from the Johns Hopkins School for Advanced Intl. Studies.
Devang Bhandari
heads the Deal Advisory Practice for KPMG Global Services and has spent a significant amount of his professional career on Mergers & Acquisitions, Restructuring and Turnaround for clients. He currently also leads the Corporate citizenship effort. He has an MBA (with Honors) in Finance and Statistics as well as a qualified Company Secretary and Qualified US CPA (equivalent of CA in India).
Kavita Narayan
serves as a Senior Health Policy Advisor to the Govt. of India. She is a Fellow of The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). She has a Masters in Health Policy & Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Masters in Sociology, a Masters Diploma in Communications & Masters Diploma in Finance from Mumbai.
Urvashi Sarup
is the CFO of Yanmar India. Prior to that, she co-founded Markenrich Consulting and spent 10 years working with clients on financial projects. She served as the Treasurer and Director of the Board of The International School of Helsinki. She has also spent 6 years in KPMG in the management consulting and corporate finance division. Urvashi qualified as a chartered accountant in 1994.
Radhika Sethi
is a pro bono member and office bearer of Sankalp Welfare Society, a Gurgaon based NGO. Radhika has been part of Sankalp since 2006 and is responsible for fund raising, donor relationships, communication, accounts and administration. Prior to Sankalp, Radhika worked eight years in Kotak Mahindra Capital Company. She is a Bachelor of commerce from Ethiraj College, Chennai and an MBA from JBIMS, Mumbai
Myrelle Machado
is Vice President of Finance and CFO India at Fareportal. Myrelle has over 25 years of experience in finance, having earlier led Finance for Microsoft’s Consumer Business in India, Motorola’s mobile phone business in India and the IBM Global Process Services India domestic business. She has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from GCOE Pune and an MBA from IIM Lucknow.
Sonal Thakur
is a software engineer and the promoter and developer of the holiday homes, “Whispers by Chalet” in the Kumaon district of Uttarakhand. She owned and ran a café, the White Brick Road in Gurgaon. Sonal was the sole owner of this venture and looked after marketing and operations. Sonal was part of the Board of Managers of the World Spa Apartment Owners Association. She holds a masters in computer engineering from Syracuse University, New York.
Sidharth Gupta
has been a serial entrepreneur, having set up and managed a host of companies in the media, communications & information tech domains. He has served on the boards of venture funded companies, international JVs, family businesses, international/industry associations and RWA/communities. He currently serves as the Executive Director at SES Environmental Services P Ltd.
Ina Nanda
Ina Nanda worked for ten years in IT consulting in Toronto before shifting to India with her family. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. She uses her natural flair for philanthropy and experience in the field of education to support the trust with the educational programmes and food drives.
